We'll be driving the big Suburban from Gig Harbor to Half Moon Bay State Park. This truck can carry 7-8 bikes, including two tandems. We also have a Yakima gear box on top, for bike and camping stuff.
The SF Airport is about an hour's drive over the hill from Half Moon Bay. Conceivably, we could pick people up there the afternoon of the 3rd between 2 and 4 PM.
We would be biking by LAX on Saturday, July 10th, so this is one option for leaving. Our planned stay-over in Newport Beach affords easy plane departures from Orange County (John Wayne) Airport on the evening of the 10th, or on the 11th or morning of the 12th. Then, we'll be near the San Diego Airport by evening of the 12th, and on the 13th.
For folks coming from San Diego, if we need a second vehicle, it might be good if it came from there, driving up on the 3rd.
